About Crispin Spaeth Coaching

The body isn't something to overcome. It's one of our greatest resources for thinking, communicating, and living well.

And, sometimes living in a body can feel like work.

Speaking. Moving. Even thinking.

It’s not always dramatic, maybe just a quiet sense of tightening, working a little harder than before, or even feeling awkward around others.

This work is about those moments.

What I do

I help people shift how they move and communicate so they can feel more ease, clarity, and presence. Through Integrative Alexander Technique, we work together to notice your habitual patterns—especially under pressure—and explore how they can change to support you in your life and work.

Learning to move with more ease doesn't change who you are. It gives you more access to who you've been all along.

How it works

This is a practical, hands-on learning process. We notice what’s already happening and explore small shifts in how you direct yourself.

This work goes beyond posture or performed confidence.

It’s a process of noticing and experimenting, so you can access more choice in how you move and respond. We work with the whole system: movement, attention, and the subtle patterns that shape how you inhabit your work and life.

Small internal shifts ripple outward into communication, creativity, leadership, daily life.

Private Coaching and Group Classes are offered in-person in Seattle and online globally.

Crispin’s experience & training

Crispin Spaeth has studied and applied the Alexander Technique for over 30 years and has been a certified teacher since 2017.

She trained in Integrative Alexander Technique through an apprenticeship with Cathy Madden, whose teacher, Marjorie Barstow, was the first graduate of F.M. Alexander’s original teacher training program.

She is a Registered Somatic Movement Educator (RSME) through ISMETA, certified by Alexander Technique International and the Integrative Alexander Technique Studio of Seattle, and holds additional training in Integrated Somatic Trauma Therapy through Embody Lab. Crispin also holds a BA in Studio Art from Oberlin College.

Her earlier career spans award-winning choreography, nonprofit work, and producing corporate and cultural events. That background continues to shape a practical, grounded approach to embodied learning—especially in real-world settings where pressure, visibility, and communication matter.

You don't have to push through tension to live fully.

Imagine feeling more comfortable in your own body. Walking, reaching, speaking, leading a meeting, playing with your grandchildren, making music, or simply getting through the day with less tension and more choice.

Together, we'll explore small shifts that help you feel more like yourself.

Curiosity is enough to begin.
